BALKAN FOLK DANCE HOLIDAY with
Erik Bendix (Folk dances from the southern Balkans)
Caspar Bik (Folk dances from regions around the Black Sea)
WEDNESDAY 5th – MONDAY 10th FEBRUARY 2020
>> Visit the Balkan Folk Dance website for full details and registration form <<
This year at Rivieradance we will have chance to enjoy the wonderful wealth of experience of Erik Bendix, together with the energy and enthusiasm of a young and talented teacher, Caspar Bik. I’ve had several requests for Erik to come back again, so here at last is an opportunity to dance with him! Caspar will be new to most of us, but he has already become an internationally recognized folk dance teacher. The main teaching sessions will be Balkan / East European folk dances, but both of our teachers will also share with us some gems from their International folk dance repertoire. If you like to take a break from the dancing, you can enjoy walking or sight-seeing in Devon’s stunning coastal scenery, with many places of interest nearby, or you can simply relax in the hotel. We stay in a lovely family-owned hotel overlooking the sea on the south-west Devon coast, with a large sprung ballroom and an award winning chef. We look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones, together with plenty of music, dancing, and delicious food.
RIVIERADANCE! is much more than just a dance course!
